As many restaurants there are pros and cons to them and overall I like this place but here are my thoughts and opinions:

Pros: The food is pretty worth for AYCE. I usually get the brisket, kalbi (short ribs), pork belly, pork kimchi stew, steamed eggs, and corn cheese. The meat isn't comparable to 10 butchers but it's pretty decent for the price you pay. The ambiance is pretty lit - the music is usually loud which some people may or may not like, I don't really mind. The side dishes are really good in my opinion specially their kimchi, bean sprouts, japchae, and the seaweed, I also love their staple sauce. The host & servers are very hardworking so much respect and appreciation to them!

Now on to the cons:
This location is next to Japantown so there's usually a lot of crowd around the area specially at night therefore the wait time is quite long. I'd recommend either making reservations ahead of time for larger groups, reserve online via yelp if available, or coming at the opening time. Also the ventilation isn't the greatest so it can get very smoky which most likely will stick to your hair, clothes, and skin by the time you're done eating. Lastly, we were seated one time at the back booth before which was close to the kitchen/entry to the stairs to the bathroom and I couldn't eat peacefully at all because of the stench I smelled from that area. I hope the restaurant can do something about this issue because I'm pretty sure many people who've been seated near that area can smell the bathroom or wet towel stench!

Overall it's a pretty good spot for an AYCE specially with friends or family.

$39.99 for AYCE with side dishes is a great deal! and soooo good. I have had this place saved in my book marks for over a year. This places banchan dishes are a little different than a few of the other places I have visited like the green coleslaw threw me off. I love how they will come and help you with the BBQ randomly too this is they only place I have been too where they have done that as well. WE came on a Saturday night thinking there would be a long wait but we were seated right away. I am defiantly returning.

A great place to bring a big group, the staff is super quick and friendly. One thing for sure get there early because they do get really packed but it's definitely worth the wait! You get so many sides plus all the meat for an amazing price, can't beat that. If you're ever in the area it's definitely the spot to hit

This is our go to place once every few months and it does not disappoint, friendly, fun and live environment with decent food, of course you cannot expect wagyu meat for 30$ lol

This was $39.99 per person with side dishes - This was so good! Love the meat quality, my favorite is their beef belly. I love eating the beef belly and their steamed egg in one bite. My favorite side dish of theirs is the seaweed, love how simple it is and not heavy in flavor. Service was great, everyone was attentive and super kind.

They have $32.99 per person option but it comes with no side dishes

They have a 25% of your total bill if you go in before 6pm on Monday through Thursdays!

I had such a great time celebrating my birthday here with my friends! They have a nice perk of a free birthday meal with a party of 4 or more. I came here with a group of 9 total and was able to be seated quickly with our reservation. Note - you can only book a reservation for parties of 7 or more.

The food was great! The meat quality is pretty good - you can order 3 at a time for your table. My favorite meats were the ones that were not marinated, which you can dip with the sauces they provide. The sides are also very good, my favorite is the snowball rice. The side dishes are also spot on, some KBBQ places side dishes are too salty in my opinion but Yakiniq side dishes were perfectly seasoned! My favorite was the seaweed.

AYCE Korean bbq with tasty meats and a variety of delicious sides! This is one of the only AYCE places I've been to with perilla leaves - so authentic! Our service was excellent on a Friday night - everything we asked for was brought out promptly and correctly. Every side dish we tried was also really good, like the corn cheese, rice balls, and stew. I think it's super worth it to get the premium option so you can get all the premium sides for free as well as nicer cuts of meat (like the steak). We were able to easily call and make a reservation for our group of 9, but otherwise you can also Yelp waitlist. I love how you can put your jacket in the under seat compartment (like an ottoman) so that it doesn't smell like bbq. My favorite AYCE kbbq in SF!

Great local spot to have KBBQ with a large group of friends. I like that you can monitor the yelp waitlist from home, and join whenever the timing works for you. They always play fun and loud music. I like their banchan selection. Always a great time.
